DAISHI turns 31!

Happy birthday, DAISHI!

As well as happy belated birthdays to the fellows of Psycho that I forgot to post greetings to. D'oh!

Have you heard that DAISHI's coming out with his first solo album? GOD JAPANESE MONSTER is the title and more information can be found on Sweet Child's site. You'll probably need a shopping service to purchase this item. J-XYZ had it on pre-order but their deadline was January 28th (however, it wouldn't hurt to contact them to see if they could help you out).

I have a ton of stuff I need to update the site with... which will happen as soon as I find a chunk of free time to do it! Please be patient in the meantime!

As announced on Psycho le Cemu's Official Page, DAISHI will be performing on November 1st and 15th at Shibuya CYCLONE. Tickets for both of these shows go on sale October 22nd.

Also, he has a scheduled radio appearance on a yet-to-be-announced show on November 12th.

Three & Three

A DVD will be released on September 13, 2006 that will feature nothing but indies footage of Psycho le Cému titled Psycho le Cemu Indies Live Eizo Best. It's currently available for pre-order here at CDJapan.

Yep, the site's still alive! Although the band is no longer together (but best of luck to Dacco and whatever other projects spring up from the former members!), this site will still continue to try to provide Psycho-related goodness. To those of you that submitted fan art and cosplay in the last few months, thank you! They will be posted shortly.

To check out what's in store, you can now view the (very much in-progress) Scans Gallery. It'll be a massive undertaking that may never be complete (what's in there is less than half of what I own so far), but I hope you enjoy it!

DAISHI said good-bye to his 20s today in Japan, February 5th. Happy birthday, DAISHI!

AYA and seek will be JHouseRock's special guests at Katsucon 12 in Washington, D.C.

According to JHR's site they will be "promoting their newest projects, including their current band ISABELLE. Q&A, Photo, and Autograph sessions are in the works for the convention, as well as special events to be announced soon."

Secondly, JHouseRock, the company responsible for bringing Psycho le Cemu to the US, has been posting interviews from the members. You will have to register and login to their site in order to view them, but currently there's a fairly recent interview with seek where he talks about the possible future of Psycho le Cemu as well as their new solo projects. There is also an interview with YURA-sama that was done during their last US tour.

JHouseRock states that they will continue to post interviews from the rest of the members from their US tour. It'll be interesting to see if DAISHI is included in that list.

YURA-sama will return to theatrical hijinks with his friends Gensui (of Dai 14 Teikoku) and Metal for a three-show tour titled, "YURA-sama • Gensui • Metal 'Akuma Jou DORAKYURA-sama ~AlaStar 2~'"

DORAKYURA-sama... Dracula-sama... get it? Get it?

Along with members from Gargoyle, An Cafe, Doremidan, Shelly Trip Realize and various other actors/performers they'll be hitting Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka starting December 4th.

Beat Shuffle & Cospa

First off, Dacco and ISABELLE just started their tour together in Japan. Last I heard, it sold out at all their stops not long after the tickets went on sale!

Dacco and ISABELLE made appearances at the internet show Beat Shuffle last week and clips are now available for viewing online here. You can also see the enquette that they filled out here.

Cospa just added SYNECTICS and an ISABELLE shirt on their site. The SYNECTICS shirts read "Majikaru (Magical) Band" and were designed by YURA-sama. Check them out here.

DAISHI Convicted

On September 30th, DAISHI was sentenced for one year and ten months with a suspended sentence of three years by a court in Yokohama. This is a tactic often used with celebrities as a "slap on the wrist," as long as DAISHI remains clean for the next three years and doesn't commit any further crimes he will not have to serve his one year and ten month sentence in prison. It was reported that upon receiving his sentence, DAISHI apologized and promised to not use stimulants again.
